To register for private lessons please follow these steps:
Step 1: Read the FACULTY BIOS on our website to help you choose a teacher.
Step 2: Call the Academy office at 250-493-7977 or email email@example.com for the contact information and rates of the faculty you would like to take lessons with. Fifteen (15) minute trail lessons are available.
Step 3: Contact the teacher to set up a lesson time.
Step 4: Once you have contacted the teacher to set up a time your must REGISTER ONLINE or in person at the Academy office, room 1 of the Leir House.
Step 5: After you register you will receive an email invoice. Payments can be made via etranfer or post-dated cheques.
Private Lesson Policies
There is an annual non-refundable REGISTRATION FEE of $30.00 per discipline to a maximum of $80.00 per family due at registration. Registration Fees go towards paying our office staff.
There is also a PENTICTON MUSIC ACADEMY MUSIC ACADEMY SOCIETY MEMBERSHIP FEE of $10.00 per family is due at registration. Our Society Members have certain benefits and responsibilities at the Academy such as Member Only Events, Volunteering, Voting and Discounts.
PAYMENT must be made in by ETRANSFER or with CHEQUES and must be completed at the TIME OF REGISTRATION.
Cheques payments can by made by submitting 10 post-dates made payable to “Penticton Academy of Music” dated the first of each month.
PLEASE NOTE: NSF cheques must be replaces within 1 week of notification and include applicable charges.
There are NO REFUNDS for missed lessons.
Lessons CANCELLED by teachers will be made up at a mutually convenient time or refunded.
LESSON WITHDRAWAL: Four weeks notice must be given for withdrawal from lessons. These lessons, whether taken or note, will be charged for. No withdrawal will be accepted after April 1st, 2019.
